A Seat In Her Collection is the evolution of Black Girls Love Vinyl’s former Collector of the Week/Month feature. What began as a spotlight has grown into an archival storytelling series centering Black women as curators of their own sonic worlds. Each installment offers readers a metaphorical seat inside a Black woman’s listening space, inviting them to witness the emotional, intellectual, and material dimensions of her collection.
